The role

The Learning Foundry are searching for an experienced Business Development Officer, to actively engage and build rich relationships with employers. You will ensure that all learners have a positive destination and the opportunity of securing sustained employment, through the generation of work placements and/or guaranteed interviews across our Funded Learning programmes.

You will provide high quality Information, advice, and guidance to employers to ensure they are aware of The Learning Foundry’s full offering and how social value recruitment will support their talent strategies. You will also play a key part in ensuring learners have a positive outcome on completion of their programme, as well as ensuring that The Learning Foundry’s profile is raised across the Liverpool City Region.

 

The right fit

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar field/role (required)
  • IAG Level 3 qualification (desirable)
  • Sales/Recruitment background (desirable)
  • Able to communicate highly complex information that may be difficult to understand, to internal and external stakeholders, presenting to internal and external groups on a regular basis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate concerns and complex/contentious issues in a diplomatic manner
  • Proven ability to analyse complex problems, whilst developing and successfully implementing practical and workable solutions
  • Ability to deal with changing priorities, work under pressure, work to tight deadlines, and be flexible
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels across the Company and with external stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to work without any supervision, meeting deadlines and KPI targets
  • Experience working within an employability or skills programme
